In this space, we are dedicated to celebrating and valuing the stories of refugees in Campinas who, with courage and determination, are rebuilding their lives in the city.

In the first episode, we share the story of Lismar, a Venezuelan woman who arrived in Brazil long before the pandemic, and whose journey has been marked by challenges and homesickness. When the borders between Brazil and Venezuela were closed, she couldn’t return to her country. Since then, she has been unable to see her family. Lismar has kindly agreed to share more about her story with us.
